Michael Bridgman, founder and CEO of TYME Media & Consulting, sat down in his office in a sleepy suburb of Vancouver, Canada on a rainy Thursday in February and opened the black bound book he'd just received from his accountants. The year end for his family's brick and mortar business had passed and he was excited to take a look.

After doing the 60 hour work weeks and after years and years of no vacations for himself and his wife, the small team at their store had been able to finally double the revenue of his family business. This look at their financial picture was going to be awesome.  

But, what came were tears.

Not tears of sadness, but tears of frustration, tears of exhaustion.

He looked down through the books and came, eventually, to a shocking number...they'd doubled the revenue but still made NO MONEY. They made .003% profit. 

Have you ever felt so tired you and wrung out that you wanted to scream? Have you ever felt like you just didn't know what else to do and that you'd tried everything to get passed where you're stuck, but couldn't?

That was how Michael felt in that moment...and the only thing that came were those tears of frustration and exhaustion.
